For the 2011 festive season we have partnered with our friends at No.1 Folly Bridge Brasserie to provide fine, festive catering on and beside the river.
Our Christmas cruise vessel, Serafina II, is a centrally heated, all weather vessel from which you can enjoy the beauty of the river in comfort and warmth.

We have prepared two fully catered Christmas party packages for you to choose from. Each offers a sumptuous Christmas menu prepared by No.1Folly Bridge Brasserie.
Six Geese A-Laying - £29 per person
Dine afloat, with our 'Six Geese A-Laying' package. Our Christmas menu is served aboard Serafina II, moored on the Thames in the heart of Oxford. This package includes 3 hours aboard ship. The vessel will remain moored for the duration of the event. This will be a private event for group bookings of more than 20 passengers, smaller parties may share the vessel with other groups or pay a small supplement to enjoy the vessel as a private venue.
Seven Swans A-Swimming - £39 per person
Enjoy a cruise along the Thames whilst you celebrate Christmas. Serafina II offers a unique vantage point from which to enjoy Oxford. The cruise will follow the university Regatta course past Christchurch Meadows and the University rowing houses towards Iffley Village and Sandford-on-Thames. Our 'Seven Swans A-Swimming' package includes 3 hours aboard Serafina II and our three course Christmas menu. This will be a private event for group bookings of more than 20 passengers, smaller parties may share the vessel with other groups or pay a small supplement to enjoy the vessel as a private venue.
Approximately 90 minutes cruise time. If river conditions make it unsafe for the vessel to cruise you will be charged for the 'Six Geese A-laying' package.
Extended durations are available by request.

Starters
Baked Goat's Cheese: served on toast with onion jam, roasted pear, walnut and oak leaf salad
Salmon & Prawn Tartlet: flakes of Scottish salmon and juicy tiger prawns set into a short crust & herb pastry case, served with a creamy lemon & dill sauce & mixed salad leaves
House Terrine: smoked ham & game terrine wrap in Parma ham, served with toasted brioche & cranberry relish
Main Courses
Crispy Fillet of Sea Bass: grilled and served with a saffron & squid risotto, watercress, carrot fritters and a light lemon emulsion
Roasted Pheasant: pheasant breast roasted with his rich jus, served with pigs in blankets, honey & parsley carrots, potato fondant, brussels sprouts & glazed chestnuts
Roasted Vegetable Tagine: fluffy grains of couscous mixed with juicy apricots, raisins & roasted vegetables, flavoured with a little red chilli & fresh citrus juice. Cooked in vegetable stock & served with a tomato sauce & sweet potato. Topped with fresh yogurt & toasted almond flakes.

Chocolate Profiteroles: classic choux pastry buns filled with Chantilly cream & smothered with lashings of warm chocolate sauce
Lemon Cheesecake: a light refreshing cheesecake made with whipped cream, low fat cream cheese & lemon zest on a buttery biscuit base, topped with fruit coulis
Melon & Raspberry Melba: thin slices and balls of cantaloupe melon with a raspberry coulis & mellowed by a smooth raspberry & strawberry Movenpick sorbet
Grand Maman Apricot Tart: fresh caramelized apricots on a light crème patisserie wrapped in a crispy pastry
Christmas Casino Cruises - £59 per person
A fun casino cruise with croupiers (Blackjack & Roulette tables). Guests are given a set amount of chips at the start of the cruise and gamble with these though out the trip. We provide a prize for winner (the person with the most chips when the casino closes). Cruises last three hours. Complimentary Canapes are provided for cruises taking place in December.
Price valid for a minimum group size of 20 and maximum of 35. For groups of less than 20 a surcharge will apply
Bespoke Private Hire
Serafina II is available to hire as a private venue for your Christmas or New Year party. Departing from central Oxford we offer afternoon and evening sailings for up to 50 passengers. Onboard we can provide full bar services, festive catering from a range of suppliers and entertainment.
