Oxford River Cruises was established in 2004. The company offers high quality river trips, private charters and boat hire on the upper reaches of the River Thames in and around Oxford.

Originally operating a single Edwardian river launch the company has now expanded and has a small fleet of characterful luxury vessels, punts, pedalos, rowing boats and electric self drive craft.

Oxford River Cruises is the only passenger boat operator to offer river trips and boat hire on the beautiful stretch of river upstream of the University City. Many of the cruises and all boat hire take place at Port Meadow, one of Oxford’s most ancient and celebrated sites. 

Oxford River Cruises aims to offer an intimate, personalised and relaxing experience of river life.
