Lunchtime Picnic Cruise
This cruise combines Oxford sightseeing with a gourmet picnic lunch and a relaxed experience of river life. This is our most popular cruise for Hen's parties and offers an excellent way for groups to bond in a relaxed and sociable environment. This hen party cruise lasts approximately 2.5 hours and costs £39 per person*.
Mad Hatters Tea Party
Another Hen Party favourite. This cruise follows the same route as that rowed by Lewis Carroll and Alice in 1862 when the story of Alice in Wonderland was told for the first time and we take in many points along the river bank that are referenced in the stories. Onboard we provide a sumptuous tea party with 'Drink Me' tea, freshly made sandwiches, 'Eat Me' cakes, and indulgent scones with clotted cream and jam. Many groups like to dress in character for the tea party and this certainly adds fun to the occasion. This hen party cruise lasts approximately 2.5 hours and costs £39 per person*.
River Experience Cruise
This short cruise takes in a fascinating stretch of river as we cruise down the university regatta course towards quaint Iffley village. This cruise lasts around 1 hour and is £15 per person*.
Alice in Wonderland Cruise
We cruise along the same stretch of river as that rowed by Lewis Carroll and Alice in 1862 when the story of Alice in Wonderland was told for the first time and we take in many points along the river bank that are referenced in the stories. This cruise lasts approximately 2.5 hours and is £25 per person.
*For groups of 8 passengers or more these trips will be private. Groups of less than 8 passengers will need to pay a supplement in order to have a private cruise. Cruises for 12 or less passengers will usually be aboard one Edwardian River Launch. Cruises for 13 - 24 passengers will usually be be aboard two Edwardian River Launches cruising in tandem (passengers are able to move between vessels at regular intervals). Cruises for 25 - 50 passengers will be aboard Serafina II. Bar services are available onboard.
Self Drive Hens Party Activities
Other hen party options include punting, or rowing boat hire. Aboard these self drive boats you can spend a day pottering up and down the river dropping in and out of idyllic pubs or having a picnic in beautiful water meadows.
